Outreach Committee

Our Outreach Committee is called to share the love of Christ through spiritual, financial and evangelistic needs of others and to support individual and communal health and growth.

This is the motto the Outreach Committee strives to live by. The Outreach Committee at The Episcopal Church of the Nativity is made up of caring and compassionate individuals who use money the vestry has set aside for the Outreach Committee. This money comes from the generous offerings of the congregation. The committee believes in GOD’S commandment to love thy neighbor as thy self. We have 10 organizations we support on a monthly basis. They are:

Dothan Rescue Mission Clearing House

Dothan Rescue Mission

Wilmer Hall

House of Ruth

Meals on Wheels

Brown Bag Program

Wiregrass Humane Society

Episcopal Relief & Development

Nativity’s Good News Shop

SARCOA

We also help support the EYC, Santa for Seniors, Turkeys from Heaven and AIM (Aid to Inmate Mother) to name only a few. We work very hard to be good stewards of the church’s money. So who are members of the Outreach Committee? We have 8 to 10 members who meet the first Sunday of each month after the 10:30 service. But you are all members. If you contribute to this church, then you are a member. So please think about coming to a meeting.
