Father Matthew Venuti
The Reverend Matthew Venuti was born in New Orleans, LA, but was raised just outside Boston, MA. Father Matt graduated The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, with a degree in music and music business. Raised in a family that did not attend the Episcopal Church, Father Matt joined the Episcopal Church after having a conversion experience in college. After college he worked in the music business arranging concerts and helping manage a pop group. Father Matt graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in May 2010 with a Masters in Divinity. His wife, Minerva, is a lifelong Episcopalian and who works on mathematical research for the treatment of brain aneurysms. Father Matt was ordained to the Sacred order of Deacons on June 5th and is currently working towards ordination of the Sacred Order of Priests in January 2011.
