The Reverend Ede Plovanich

Rector

The Reverend Ede Plovanich is a native of the

Mississippi Gulf Coast. Ede is an alumnus of

the University of Mississippi where she earned

a B. S. in Pharmacy in 1983. After college, she

worked as a hospital pharmacist for twenty years

in Mobile, Alabama. Ede is married to

Bob Plovanich. Their daughter, Anna Laura,

is a college sophomore at Springhill University.

In 2006, Ede graduated with a Masters in Divinity

from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the

Southwest in Austin, Texas and was ordained to

the priesthood on April 21^st, 2007.  Prior to serving

as the Interim Rector, Ede was the Curate for the

Church of the Nativity.

Mother Ede became the sixteenth rector of the

Church of Nativity on January 23, 2008.
